Brave Frontier is an RPG game designed for mobile phones, published and designed by A-Lim, which was originally for the iOS-powered devices but now available in Kindle Fire and Android. The first release of the game was in Japan by the very same developer, back in the 3rd of July 2013. It was then released worldwide on December 13, 2013. As of this writing, there is a series of the sequel in development.
If you have been playing console games since the inception of the very first PlayStation, then you will get this sense of familiarity with Brave Frontier. They storyline concentrates mostly on an unnamed summoner. The players are expected to complete every stage in order to get access to a new level or area. Players are given the freedom to bring with them up to five units in every stage they enter, plus a “friend” unit when they play in quest mode. Players can gain friends in the game via friend request. The attacking units give rewards to the player with items, Heart Crystals, Zel and Brave Burst Crystals. After the players complete a level, players are given further rewards with many other items, including some Karma and Zel. They are also able to acquire units in every successful mission.
When a player completes a whole area, they will be rewarded with a single gem. But if they fail, one gem will make them continue. Units are given the ability in executing the special attacks, which is referred in the game as Brave Bursts. This special attack can even provide both increase overall stats and health point, which can make the player gain advantage against their enemies. A Super Brave Burst attack can be made only when a unit possesses a 6 Star Ranking, with their Brave Burst already maxed out. There is another version for this referred to as the Ultimate Brave Bursts, which can be used by Omni Evolution Units and 7-Star only after the players have filled out their Overdrive gauge.
